Maintenance of Hostels

Two hostels maintained by the Dept. One for Boys and another for Girls

Vocational Training Centre

One vocational training centre is fuctioning is Yanam,imparting
training to 16 students in cutting and tailaring every year
Free distribution of clothing items to SC

Scheduled caste male will be supplied people with a dhote and towel
and female

Schedule caste female will be supplied a saree and blouse piece.
Supply of Text books, stationary and
cloths

Distribution of free text books, to S.C.students stationary
and cloth items from std. I to X every year.
Provision of coaching and allied facilities

Providing tutorial facilities to SC students Middle and Secondary level
in the evening after school hours in the school.
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Award to SC students

In order to motivate the SC people keeping their houses neet and tidy,
incentives in the form of house-hold articles worth Rs.300/- to each selected
beneficiaries will be awarded
Construction of housing
colony,purchase,distribution and development of house sites

Providing free house sites to SC people and OEBC people
Free distribution of improved and
modern tools and Equipments

The agriculture implements,spade,ploughs and plant protection and cro-bar and
power sprayers etc,.will be issued to poor SC & OEBC
Grant-in-Aid to local bodies for construction of
housing colonies for scavengers and sweepers

The object of the scheme is to construct housing colonies for
scavengers and sweepers construction of ,water born latrines, community
halls,civic amenites latrines and provision etc,. in SC colonies.

Funds will be relased to Yanam municipality for construction of
community for executing works. halls and providing civic amenities
in S.C.colonies
Financial assistance for Poor SC
Brides, Pregnent SC People

Providing financial assistance Rs.500/-for pregnant and lactating women and
Rs.7,500/- to each SC poor brides for performing their marriage
Award of pre-matric Scholarships

Financial assistance to SC students to enable them to complete their
education upto Secondary level.
Award of Post-matric scholarships

Financial assistance to SC students to enable them to complete their Education
Intermediate and Degree level.
Award of Retention scholarships

Financial assistance to SC students in primary schools.
Award of oppertunity cost to the Parents of SC Girl
Students

Payments of oppertunity cost for SC Studnets 12 months in the Academic
year at the rate of Rs.20/- to the parents of SC girl students
Stipend to SC students in Tech.institutions.

Providing Financial Assistance to SC Students in Technical Institutions.
Award of Dr.B.R.Ambedkar Memorial Award

Financial assistance to SC students who have secured top marks (not
less than 55%)in Higher Sec. public examination at the rate of Rs.1,000/-
Award of (incentive Scholarship Special) Adhoc
Merit Grant to SC students

Special incentive of Rs.300/- will be awarded to SC students who
obtained 65% of marks and more in SSC examination.
Financial Assistance to Law and Medical Graduates
for Setting up of Practice

Financial assistance will be provided to SC law and medical gradutes for
setting practice
Financial Assistance to SC people to perform
Funeral Rites

Providing financial assistance of Rs.500/- to SC people to perform
funeral rites.
Award of Intercaste Married Couple

Providing financial assistance for married couple at the rate
of Rs.10,000/- .
